Local non-profit offers new
scholarship opportunity
The Blue Print Leadership Academy and Paine College, Augusta, GA announce a new scholarship
benefiting a young man or woman who will graduate high school in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee
regions.
This scholarship will provide renewable funds to a deserving student
with plans to attend Paine College in Augusta, GA.
Former college football teammates at South Carolina State University, Dr. George
Bradley, president of Paine College and Ervin "Blue Print" Parker are both interested
in furthering the education of our young people.
''We want to reward students who show initiative through hard work, good grades and research
that they understand the benefits of a college education and attendance at Paine College, says Parker,
founder of the Blue Print Leadership Academy.
"Paine College is an excellent school that will give an strong educational foundation
to a self-starter."

Founded. in 2001, the Blue Print Leadership Academy is a
youth mentoring program based in Georgetown.
The program was conceived and founded by Parker, a retired National Football League player. Georgetown
is Mr. Parker's hometown.
He returned to start the Academy and to give back to his hometown.
